Pharmacology:
Telmacal 5/40 mg contains two active ingredients:

Telmisartan 40 mg: An angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that relaxes blood vessels and lowers blood pressure.

Amlodipine 5 mg: A calcium channel blocker that widens blood vessels and improves blood flow.
This combination provides enhanced blood pressure control.
Dosage:

Usually one tablet once daily or as prescribed by the doctor

Dosage may vary depending on patient condition
Administration:
Orally with or without food, preferably at the same time daily.
Interaction:
May interact with other antihypertensives, diuretics, lithium, and NSAIDs. Inform your healthcare provider about all medications.
Contraindications:

Common: Dizziness, swelling, headache, flushing
