BEXITROL F 50/250 Maxhaler is indicated for:
Maintenance treatment of asthma in moderate to severe cases.
Long-term management of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) in patients with frequent symptoms or exacerbations.
Pharmacology:
Formoterol (50 mcg): A long-acting beta-2 agonist (LABA) that relaxes airway muscles, improving breathing by relieving bronchoconstriction.
Fluticasone Propionate (250 mcg): An inhaled corticosteroid (ICS) that reduces inflammation and prevents exacerbations of asthma and COPD.
Dosage and Administration:
Adults and adolescents (12 years and older): 1-2 inhalations twice daily or as directed by a physician.
Inhale the dose deeply through the mouth to ensure effective delivery.
Rinse mouth with water after use to reduce the risk of oral thrush.
Interaction:
