Indications
JARDIAN 10 mg is indicated for the treatment of hypertension and for reducing the risk of cardiovascular events in patients with type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
Pharmacology
Contains Alogliptin and Vildagliptin (if fixed dose combination) or can be a DPP-4 inhibitor (depending on formulation). It helps in lowering blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels and improving insulin sensitivity.
Dosage & Administration
Typically taken once daily, with or without food, as prescribed by the physician.
Interaction
May interact with other antihypertensives, diuretics, and certain diabetes medications.
Contraindications
Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to the drug or severe renal impairment.
Side Effects
Side effects may include dizziness, headache, fatigue, cough, and gastrointestinal discomfort.
