Pharmacology:
Diclofenac inhibits COX enzymes to reduce prostaglandin synthesis and inflammation. Methyl Salicylate acts as a counter-irritant that produces a warming sensation, helping to relieve pain.
Dosage & Administration:
Apply a thin layer of gel 3-4 times daily to the affected area. Massage gently until absorbed. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
Interaction:
Topical use limits systemic exposure; however, caution is advised when used concomitantly with oral NSAIDs or anticoagulants due to potential additive effects.
Contraindications:

Known hypersensitivity to Diclofenac, Methyl Salicylate, or other NSAIDs

Broken or infected skin at the application site

History of NSAID-induced asthma or allergic reactions
Side Effects:
Possible mild local reactions such as skin irritation, redness, itching, or rash. Rarely, allergic dermatitis.
Pregnancy & Lactation:
Use only if clearly needed and prescribed by a doctor. Avoid use on large skin areas, especially during the third trimester of pregnancy.
