Indications
JOINTEC MAX is indicated for the treatment of osteoarthritis, especially in patients with moderate to severe joint pain and cartilage degeneration.
Pharmacology

Glucosamine Sulfate (750 mg): A natural amino sugar that stimulates the production of cartilage and synovial fluid, helping to repair and protect joint tissues.

Diacerein (50 mg): An anti-inflammatory agent that inhibits interleukin-1, reducing cartilage degradation and inflammation in osteoarthritic joints.
Dosage & Administration

Recommended dose: 1 tablet once or twice daily, preferably after meals.

Dose and duration should be based on physician’s advice.

Long-term use may be needed for optimal joint protection.
Interaction

May interact with antibiotics, laxatives, or blood thinners.

Avoid combining with NSAIDs for long periods without medical supervision.
Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to Diacerein, Glucosamine, or shellfish (if glucosamine is shellfish-derived)

Severe liver or kidney dysfunction

Inflammatory bowel disease or chronic diarrhea
Side Effects

Common: Soft stool, diarrhea, abdominal discomfort, flatulence

Rare: Allergic reactions, yellow discoloration of urine (harmless)
Pregnancy & Lactation

Not recommended during pregnancy or lactation due to limited safety data.
