NAPA Extend 665 mg contains paracetamol in an extended-release formulation. Each tablet has two layers: one for immediate release and the other for slow, sustained release, providing up to 8 hours of pain relief. It works by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis in the CNS and regulating body temperature via the hypothalamus.
Dosage & Administration
Adults and children over 12 years: 2 tablets every 8 hours as needed
Maximum: Do not exceed 6 tablets in 24 hours
Swallow whole with water. Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet
Suitable for long-lasting pain or when fewer daily doses are preferred
Interaction
Avoid with other paracetamol-containing products
May interact with warfarin when used long-term
Alcohol use may increase the risk of liver damage
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to paracetamol
Severe liver disease
Children under 12 years of age
