Indications:
TURBOCLAV 250MG is indicated for the treatment of bacterial infections such as respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, sinusitis, otitis media, skin and soft tissue infections, and dental infections.
Pharmacology:
TURBOCLAV contains Amoxicillin, a penicillin antibiotic that kills bacteria, and Clavulanic Acid, a beta-lactamase inhibitor that protects amoxicillin from being destroyed by resistant bacteria. Together, they provide broad-spectrum antibacterial action.
Dosage & Administration:
The usual adult dose is one 250 mg tablet every 8 hours or as prescribed by a physician. It should be taken with or after food to reduce gastrointestinal discomfort.
Interaction:
May interact with anticoagulants (e.g., warfarin), allopurinol (may increase skin reactions), and other antibiotics. It may also reduce the effectiveness of oral contraceptives.
Contraindications:
Contraindicated in patients with a history of allergic reactions to penicillins, cephalosporins, or any component of the product.
Side Effects:
Common side effects include nausea, diarrhea, rash, and abdominal discomfort. Rare but serious side effects include liver dysfunction and allergic reactions.
Pregnancy & Lactation:
Can be used during pregnancy and lactation only if clearly needed and prescribed by a physician. It is generally considered safe but should be used with caution.
Precautions & Warnings:
Use with caution in patients with liver or kidney impairment. Prolonged use may lead to secondary infections. Monitor liver function during prolonged therapy.

Store in a cool, dry place below 30°C. Protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
