Indications:
Odrel Plus is indicated for prevention of atherothrombotic events such as myocardial infarction, ischemic stroke, and peripheral arterial disease. It is used in patients at high risk of blood clots.
Pharmacology:
This tablet contains Aspirin, an antiplatelet agent, and Clopidogrel, a platelet aggregation inhibitor. Together, they reduce platelet activation and aggregation, preventing clot formation.
Dosage:
Typically, one tablet once daily or as prescribed by the physician.
Administration:
Take orally with water, preferably after meals to reduce gastrointestinal irritation. Swallow whole.
Interaction:
May interact with anticoagulants, NSAIDs, proton pump inhibitors, and other blood thinners. Inform your doctor about all medications.
Contraindications:
Contraindicated in patients with bleeding disorders, active peptic ulcers, hypersensitivity to aspirin or clopidogrel, and severe liver disease.
Side Effects:
Possible side effects include bleeding, bruising, gastrointestinal discomfort, and allergic reactions.
Pregnancy & Lactation:
Use only if clearly needed and under medical supervision. Consult doctor before use in pregnancy or breastfeeding.
