Indications:
Odycin D is indicated for the treatment of bacterial eye infections accompanied by inflammation, such as conjunctivitis, keratitis, and post-operative eye conditions. It is also used after cataract surgery to prevent infection and reduce swelling.

Pharmacology:
Odycin D combines Moxifloxacin, a broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibiotic that inhibits bacterial DNA synthesis, and Dexamethasone, a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation by inhibiting multiple inflammatory cytokines and mediators.

Dosage:
Usually, 1 drop in the affected eye(s) 2–4 times daily, or as directed by an ophthalmologist. The frequency may vary depending on severity.

Administration:
Wash hands before use. Shake the bottle well. Tilt head back, instill one drop in the lower eyelid, and close eyes for 1–2 minutes. Avoid contact with the dropper tip.

Interaction:
Should not be used with other eye drops unless advised. Inform your doctor if you're using other topical eye products.

Contraindications:
Contraindicated in viral, fungal, or tuberculosis-related eye infections. Also avoid in patients with hypersensitivity to Moxifloxacin, Dexamethasone, or other quinolones/corticosteroids.

Side Effects:
May cause temporary burning, stinging, redness, blurred vision, eye pressure increase (with long-term use), or allergic reactions.

Pregnancy & Lactation:
Use only if clearly needed and prescribed by a specialist. Safety in pregnancy and lactation is not fully established.

Precautions & Warnings:
Prolonged use may lead to secondary infections or increased intraocular pressure. Regular monitoring may be necessary in long-term use. Avoid wearing contact lenses during treatment.
