Pharmacology:
Tadalafil is a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor that increases blood flow to the penis by relaxing blood vessel muscles, aiding erection.
Dosage & Administration:
Usually prescribed as 0.5 mg or according to doctor’s advice. Taken orally, with or without food. Do not exceed recommended dose.
Interaction:
Avoid nitrates (e.g., nitroglycerin) to prevent severe hypotension
Use caution with alpha-blockers and antihypertensive drugs
May interact with antifungal and HIV medications
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to Tadalafil
Concurrent use of nitrates or nitric oxide donors
Severe cardiovascular disorders
