Indications:
Odycin Eye Drop is indicated for the treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis and other external ocular infections caused by susceptible strains of bacteria. It is also used for corneal ulcers.
Pharmacology:
Contains Moxifloxacin, a fourth-generation fluoroquinolone antibiotic that inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV. It effectively kills a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria in the eye.
Dosage:
Typically 1 drop in the affected eye(s) 2-3 times daily for 5 to 7 days, or as directed by a physician.
Administration:
Wash hands before use. Tilt head back and instill one drop into the conjunctival sac. Avoid touching the tip of the dropper to any surface to prevent contamination.
Interaction:
No significant systemic drug interactions due to topical use, but inform your doctor if using other eye medications.
Contraindications:
Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to Moxifloxacin or other quinolone antibiotics.
Side Effects:
Possible side effects include eye irritation, redness, dryness, blurred vision, or a burning sensation after application.
Pregnancy & Lactation:
Should be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding only if clearly necessary and prescribed by an ophthalmologist.
Precautions & Warnings:
Avoid wearing contact lenses during treatment. Do not use for viral or fungal eye infections. Complete the full course as prescribed.

Storage Conditions:
Store below 25°C. Protect from light. Do not freeze. Discard after 4 weeks of opening. Keep out of reach of children.
